Jungles and tropical plants

Inspired by the intrepid Victorian botanical artist Marianne North, this collection of paintings include direct responses to her work and observational paintings of exotic plants, from Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, the Singapore Botanic Gardens and house plants. Looking at this luxuriant tropical foliage encourages a kind of escapism and vicarious travel.
